Participants are provided continuous support, in their own home or away, while carers take a break from the caring role.
Participants can travel locally, interstate or abroad with support.
Participants participate in day programs at a day centre, neighbourhood house or community health centre.
Respite care (also known as ‘short-term care’) is a form of support for participants and their carers.
Respite gives carers the opportunity to take a break from the caring role while participants continue to receive the support they need.
Respite care can be arranged for a few hours, a few days or even for longer periods.
Respite care can be organised recreation, social or leisure activities, locally, intestate or overseas.
Depending on participants' circumstances, they may be eligible to access our services using government funding or with a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan.
Alternatively, participants can purchase our services with own funding.
Whatever situation participants are in, we will work together, to ensure the services and supports chosen are tailored to participants' individual needs.
We will ensure goals are achieved, allowing participants to enjoy improved health, wellbeing and quality of life.
We are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
If you have a good idea of what kind of care you want, or if you are not sure where to start, chatting with our friendly team is the first step towards respite care.

The next step is to book a consultation with our coordinator.
We want to get to know you beyond your care needs and fully understand your requirements.
The coordinator takes the time to find out as much as possible about you, your interests and lifestyle, enabling us to match you to the most compatible care staff.
The next step is to organise the respite care.
We create a tailored care plan and select the most compatible care staff to deliver on your wishes for the duration of the care.
We work with you and your carer (s).
A few days before the respite care takes place, our coordinator will contact you, to discuss the plan in details.
We want you to feel comfortable before participating in the respite care plan.
Upon your return from the respite care activity, our coordinator will call you, to follow up on how you experienced our services.
